Great colors and cuts!! 07/18/10

When I first came to Shanna, I had shoulder length hair with blond highlights, but wasn't really happy with the sharpness of it. She gave me the most beautiful, soft dark blond! I loved it.
A couple of years later, I decided to dump the blond and get closer to my natural color, which is brown, and also shorten it up a bit. I now have the cutest super-short dark brown pixie!!! I love it. It's been over 2 months and I'm still getting lots of compliments on it.

The Absolute BEST!!! 05/19/10

I went to Shanna because I was tried of trying to grow out my hair. She put in the most beautiful extensions. They look very natural and real. I was very concerned that I would look fake or un-natural. This is so not true. Shanna matched my hair color and my hair style exactly. The extensions look fabulous. The best part of all, no joke, I now get carded when I go out......so the extension seem to have an anti-aging factor.

Hair Extensions 05/19/10

I got hair extensions and color done about a week ago with Shanna. I have only been to a salon ONCE in my entire life, and I was really nervous about going and especially about hair extensions. The consultation was great, and it helped me feel better about my decision to get hair extensions. I only had about a week left in town before I went back home for the summer and Shanna was so great about finding a time to fit me in!! She ended up coming in at SEVEN am on a saturday morning just to do my hair! She colored my hair to match the hair extensions EXACTLY. So far, no one has even noticed that I have hair extensions! They just think my hair grew really fast and became way more healthy! ;) But I do let everyone know I have hair extensions because they look so great, I am definitely not ashamed! I think I may actually go to salons from now on instead of having my mom cut my hair.... :) PS---Shanna is SUPER fast! I got my hair colored, hair extensions, and styled all in about three hours! ~ Posted on Citysearch

Shanna is Awesome! 04/23/10

I visited Shanna for a cut and color for the first time yesterday. What an awesome experience! Shanna is very talented - my cut and color look great! I have wavy/curly hair, and have found that not all stylists are versed in working with curly hair. But Shanna is definitely an expert at cutting and styling curly hair. My hair looks great! In addition, Shanna is very professional and friendly. She made me feel right at home like I had been going to her for years. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I will be back! Honest and Helpful 02/19/10

I recently moved to Austin from Ohio with bleaching gone wrong. I researched color specialists in his area and kept seeing Shanna's name. I was hesitant to try something else with my hair color but knew something needed to be done. Shanna was honest about the condition of my hair and what it could tolerate. She asked me everything from the heat setting I use on my hairdryer and straighter to the types of shampoo I use. She now has me on the right track to getting my blonde hair back the healthy way!! The Queen of Extensions 02/05/10

Shanna is fabulous!! I've been visiting Lush Life Salon & Boutique since September 2009. I'm so happy to have found this place here in Austin. Shanna does a wonderful job on cuts, color and extensions. I recently just started wearing extensions and I love them! If you want long beautiful hair, she's the person to see here in Austin.
